‘Dhyana’ means ‘meditation’ or ‘reflection’ in Sanskrit & this wine’s juicy quirkiness encourages just that. The team at Valdibella are an inspiring co-op championing biodiverse & regenerative agriculture with an active social conscience. Grown on clay dominant land, these lush grapes were destemmed then direct pressed…super slowly…hence the deep extraction of colour. After fermention in steel tanks the wine was racked off the gross lees then returned for around 9 months of ageing, including full malolactic fermentation. Perricone is a hyper-local grape variety which has been artfully transformed into this textured, juicy babe; smacking of red berry with watermelon vibes. She’s totally dry and totally delicious.
