PRODUCER
Fratelli, meaning ‘brothers’ in Italian, refers to the uniting of three key families to represent the shared desire nurtured in their hearts: to create a product of truly international standard, made in India using centuries long Italian winemaking traditions. The house of Fratelli has steadily been gaining global recognition, with over 30 international awards within a few years of inception.

VITICULTURE + VINIFICATION
Fratelli was attracted towards Akluj (Solapur) due to its dry, mineral and organically poor soil, the end result of the erosion of mother rock mountains that have generated the Deccan Plateau.

These particular grapes come from Plot G Garwar at 548m above sea level and are cultivated through Vertical Sprouting Positioning. After hand harvesting at 20-22 brix, the free run juice is gravity clarified for 24 hours before racking and fermentation using Italian Enartis yeast, in stainless steel tanks. Ageing also takes place in stainless steel tanks for 4 months before bottling within 12 months.
